Counseling Assistance

The purpose of Counseling Assistance is to provide appropriate, Biblical guidance for an individual who is in need on an urgent basis. Counseling Assistance may not be applicable for cases which need long-term support. 4 Points has the right to adjust or decline an applicant's request and may consider providing assistance outside of 4 Points Church, if necessary, with organizations that are already providing such support.

Applicants are not granted assistance based on relationships with church leaders or being a significant church contributor. The church does not discriminate between applicants based upon race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, geographic territory, or disability. Assistance can only be granted based on the merit of the application to meet primary short-term needs. Counseling Assistance is provided in the following areas:

  • Personal Mentorship
  • Financial Mentorship
  • Premarital Mentorship
  • Marriage Enrichment
  • Divorce Recovery
  • Grief Mentorship
  • Counseling Referrals

The type of aid that is appropriate depends on the individual's needs and available resources. All requests must be approved by the staff at 4 Points Church.

Financial Assistance

The Benevolence Fund at 4 Points Church provides urgent, short-term financial aid for essential needs like food, housing, clothing, and transportation, but not for long-term support. Assistance is granted based on the merit of the application, without discrimination or favoritism, and is limited to one instance per 12-month period per individual or their immediate family.

All requests must be approved by the Finance Team, and aid may be provided as goods, services, or monetary help, depending on the individual's needs and available resources.

Please note: At this time, we are only able to consider requests from people who actively attend 4 Points.
